The Cluster's Centres of Expertise are home to international level expertise, a functional cooperation network of enterprises, research, education, public sector and other interest groups as well as a genuine will and ability to cooperate.

The cooperation network includes universities, polytechnics, research organizations, hospital districts and their university hospitals, social and health service of cities and municipalities, Health and well-being network of the Centre of Expertise, technology centres and regional development companies, financers, ministries as well as service and technology companies in the field of health and well-being. This network represents a functional innovation environment for the health and well-being sector to assist in the commercialization of research-based results, the creation of new enterprise activity and the growth of health and well-being enterprises as well as developing effective international business environments in Finland.
